Is this the new tie?

September 12th, 2011 § Leave a Comment

Now the bankers and hedgies cannot afford not to wear a tie; now that the dire straits of (almost) every economy is easing even entrepreneurs back into suits, and techies out of their fit, er flip flops, perhaps there is room for the more stylish ones, the bolder, more confident ones to fight back with a top-pocket statement?

Obviously we can’t return to the flying pigs and humping hippos of the 80′s, although there are still those that do, maybe their eyesight’s going, anyway that does not mean we need to be over-cautious. When a beautiful if rather staid traditional madder print from Macclesfield is just a bit too golf-club-ish, and a simple spot is a bit too, well simple, we need to turn to the truly inspirational designs of Georgina von Etzdorf.
